What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDI Coordinator position at ARMADA?
SUMMARY
The EDI coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and ongoing maintenance of EDI trading partners. This position will act as a liaison between Armada and our trading partner community. The incumbent is also responsible for providing day to day support for integration issues between trading partners and Armada’s backend systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships and provide support to all internal departments and vendors.
- Perform EDI project management functions including coordinating, organizing, planning, scheduling, communicating and evaluating progress.
- Perform EDI testing for each trading partner to ensure all transactions are created and fields are mapped in accordance with trading partners requirements.
- Establish and maintain accurate Trading Partner test instructions
- Communicate with trading partners and internal customers via phone and/or email to fix errors or fields.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production communication errors in accordance with trading partner requirements
- Provide EDI support to internal departments regarding EDI orders
- Maintain/redesign EDI procedures to align with best business practices.
- Document EDI processes and update standard operating procedures
- Organize and analyze data to measure trading partner performance
- Assist in applying and expanding new technologies that align with company systems and increase efficiency
- Partner with cross functional departments to improve existing processes and create new work flows as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Client facing with excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
- Basic SQL and PL/SQL skills in SQL Server and/or Oracle
- 3 years prior EDI coordinator experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working within an ESB platform implemented on top of Software AG’s webMethods solution
- Experience working in JD Edwards
- Experience working with Blue Yonder WMS
- Familiarity with supply chain solutions organizations
