This position is responsible for effectively assisting food and beverage services and aiding in the overall logistics of catering events by way of set-up, clear communication and teamwork, while maintaining the company’s standard for excellence. Furthermore, it requires you to be accommodating to all guests as well as anticipating the needs of the guests and responding politely to their requests.
Responsibilities: include but are not limited to:
Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.
Assist with set-up and breakdown of tables, linens, chairs, etc, for catering events.
Ensure cleanliness.
Provide excellent food and beverage service for events.
Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
Maintain a sense of urgency when on the service floor.
Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of events.
Maintain positive and professional attitude.
Seek council from management when needed.
Complete other assigned duties when necessary.
Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success.
Follow Health and Safety practices at all times.
