Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:
Senior Software Tester
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen

This position is for an exciting project working on next generation cellular and 5G technologies. We are helping to provide mission critical services at the edge of traditional capabilities, mitigating our customers' reliance on traditional satellite communications, or higher echelon command data networks. This initiative will help keep the hardware and software on the cutting edge, by improving the form and function of entire system.
Key Duties:
- Demonstrated experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration Continuous Development process and software tools
- Create test scripts and testing reports based on the full SDLC.
- Familiarity with requirements gathering, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure that the goals of the products in development have been met.
- Ensure that new software is compatible across multiple user bases and multiple environments.
- Perform vulnerability testing to ensure that all new releases are fully secure.
- Test enhancements, bug fixes, and newly developed features focusing on quality and reliability.
- Ensure the long term quality of the software that is released.
- Map user and customer requirements to the software that is ready for production, and ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with automated testing, and writing test scripts.
- Experience with version control and issue tracking tools such as Bitbucket and Jira.
- Experience with the following development and libraries: C , Python Flask, Angular JS, React, etc...
- Familiarity with backend databases such as Mongo DB.
- Ability to be self-directed, and determine what new protocols would be the best for testing various situations and configurations.
