Property Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all tenant interactions and lease agreements
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt and efficient repairs and maintenance of properties
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any potential issues or violations
- Advertise and market available rental units to attract potential tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants through application process
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and other legal documents
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment from tenants
- Enforce lease terms and handle evictions if necessary

Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or related field is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance requests
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs and regulations is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple properties simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Understanding of basic contract law and ability to draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements
