What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kentex Laborer position at Armstrong Steel?
Summary:
Read blueprints to put together the framed parts, webs and flanges, into the Kentex machine so the main frame can be manufactured.
Essential Functions:
- Read blueprints.
- Use Kentex machine to weld together the webs and flanges for each frame.
- Assembles the frame in Kentex machine and weld tacks the frame together for the welding process.
- Uses crane to load and unload Kentex machine.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess 1 - 2 years of basic experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must possess an understanding of shop math, blue print reading, welding symbols, beam assembly, general welding knowledge and general shop practice. Must have excellent attention to detail and should be focused and accurately understand quality assurance requirements.

N/A
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment. Noise volume varies from loud to normal.
