Our Corporate Services Group provides comprehensive representation in all areas of business law, corporate finance and investment.
Armstrong Teasdale is seeking a transactional partner with 8 years of experience handling the structuring, financing and completion of acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships and other commercial and financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong law firm experience and communication skills and will align with the firm’s collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.

1. Engages in pre-transaction planning, due diligence, deal and information management, preparation and negotiation of purchase and other transaction agreements, closings, post-closing matters, and business integration;
2. Leads transactions involving equity and assets, mergers, venture capital, private equity and bank financings, joint ventures, and corporate consolidations, reorganizations and restructurings;
3. Advises on key corporate governance, strategic and fiduciary duty issues;
4. Manages communications with the client, client advisors and opposing counsel from the time of initial contact through closing; and
5. Implements strong project management and team building skills to better ensure the accomplishment of the client’s objectives in a manner that is time and cost efficient.
Required Education: Juris Doctorate Required Licenses and/or Certifications: N/A Preferred Education: N/A Required Years of Experience: 8 years’ relevant experience in M&A; substantial experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating sophisticated M&A documents
Preferred Years of Experience: Knowledge of market terms for the above corporate transactions in a broad cross-section of industries
Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirect
