The Systems and Reporting Analyst is tasked with examining and organizing the relationships between people, technology, reporting, processes and business operations in order to help the Firm operate more effectively and better serve their clients, staff and bottom line.

1. Participates in process improvement initiatives, including determining the business activities that drive results; works cross-functionally to improve operations2. Evaluates computer systems and reporting to explore opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency; Uses industry standards and practices to recommend upgrades and enhancements to current systems3. Gathers feedback from managers and end-users, analyzes system performance, identifies system problems and solutions, implements technical training and manages technology developments4. Performs system tests and collaborates with the IT Department to resolve issues and errors5. Assists the IT department in deploying software upgrades 6. Drafts informational materials and graphics to explain systems issues to managers and users7. Organizes and gathers procedural information, introducing new procedures, policies and systems and advises on operational matters8. Data organization, reporting and analysis9. Designs, develops and optimizes reporting from existing systems and ensures reporting accuracyCompetencies:

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related field

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: N/A

Required Experience: 2-3 years of information systems experience; 1-3 years of experience with advanced Excel proficiency; 2-3 years of experience with knowledge of extracting data using SQL language and SSRS

Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of information systems experience; Aderant Legal Billing Software; ARCS Collections Software; Legal / Professional Services

Supervisory Responsibilities:N/APhysical Activity: The employee will be required to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
