Full time Tower Climber

Tower Climber
your responsibilities will include:
-Performing installations as well as test and troubleshoot problems within the wireless network with
direct guidance for tasks from the foreman or senior technicians.
-Maintain and repair equipment within wireless networks, including equipment upgrades.
-Complete work on towers at height, while always maintaining a focus on safety.
-Operate Capstan Hoist proficiently
-Effectively and safely rig tower, sector frames, boom gates, antennas, and radios.
-Clean and prepare job site, tools and equipment.
-Maintain organization and good condition of tools and equipment on site, in the vehicles and in the
warehouse.
-Perform pre-assembly of coaxial cable lines for installation; Measure for designated lengths, install
cable connections, hangers, adaptors, and hoisting grips.
-Perform pre-assembly of antenna systems.
-Load, unload, identify and distribute materials to appropriate location according to direction.
-Work as part of a team, following directions from the Foreman and Top Hand.
Required Qualifications:
1 years’ experience climbing and working on towers.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and drive or ride in a truck for long periods of time.
Ability to climb towers 100 feet tall, with a 50 lb. load.
Understand hand and arm signals
Experience with UMTS, Carrier Adds, and LTE upgrades.
Preferred Qualifications:
NWSA TTT1 Certification

-Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations
-Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary

-Must be able to work out of market or away from home as work demands, However Local market will
be prioritized when possible.
Wear safety equipment:
OSHA/MSHA/ANSI requirements including but not limited steel toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard
hat, required PPE for elevated work, fire retardant clothing, protective eye wear, etc.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
