Position: Dental Assistant
Location: Kaimuki, Oahu, HI
Experience: 6 months experience as a Dental Assistant preferred OR 6 months experience within a healthcare facility
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); CPR/First Aid preferred
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8-5pm
Pay: $15-20/hr depending on experience
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description - Duties include but are not limited to:
- Take acceptable x-rays
- Greet, check in and welcome patients
- Sterilize instruments properly
- Assist Dentist in all procedures
- Maintain workflow and upkeep of operatories
- Schedule patients
- Be able to chart and have basic computer skills
Position Requirements:
- You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Desire to learn and grow
- Helpful with customer service orientation
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
