Position: Security Guard

Location: Honolulu, HI

Experience: No experience necessary - will train!

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Type: Full-time; Temp-to-Hire, ASAP 6 months w/ possible extension

Schedule: 40 hours/week *flexibility required, may have to work mornings, nights, overnights, weekends and overtime as needed, working hours may change based on business needs*

Pay scale:

• $15/hr with no experience
• $18/hr with experience and active Guard Card
• $20/hr after 90 days of satisfactory performance

We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team at Staffing Solutions of Hawaii. This is an entry-level position and no experience is necessary as we will provide training. The candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a possible extension of up to 6 months. The schedule will require flexibility to work mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Working hours may change based on business needs.

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure personal, building, and equipment security. You will also provide escort services for visitors and client staff, watch for and report irregularities, and prepare routine, standardized reports. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Position Requirements:

• ACT 208 Guard Card preferred but not required
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug screening
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated
