Title: Patient Care Technician - Auto offer!!

Type: 13 weeks contract with possible Extension

Shift: Rotating, Day, Evening & Night

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Note: We have multiple positions of PCT and CNA in multiple locations too.

Job description:

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, while promoting independence and preserving dignity.

Measure and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiratory rate, accurately and timely.

Monitor patients' condition and behavior, reporting any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff promptly.

Perform basic medical procedures under the direction of registered nurses or healthcare providers, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and urinary catheterization.

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Implement fall prevention measures, infection control protocols, and safety precautions to minimize patient risks and ensure a safe care environment.

Transport patients to and from various areas within the healthcare facility, including the operating room, imaging department, and rehabilitation services, using appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.

Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) or other documentation systems.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing updates on patient status and responding to inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

• PCT Certificate
• 1 years of experience in specialty
• BLS required BSN preferred (additional certs maybe required depending on specialty)
