Job Overview

As the VP of Finance, you will be responsible for leading Arrive's financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring that our financial practices are aligned with the company's overall goals. You will play a key role in financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies to support Arrive's growth and scalability. 


You are someone who thrives in early-stage startup environments and has experience in and a passion for ecommerce. This role involves partnering closely with Arrive’s founders and sales team, actively participating in sales calls, and translating sales pipeline data from HubSpot into forecast probabilities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in building detailed financial models, managing the monthly close-out processes in QuickBooks, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Strong client-facing skills and a proven track record in a startup setting are essential. Join us to play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop financial strategies that align with the company’s goals. Provide expert financial guidance and insights to the Co-CEO and other senior leaders.

  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and accounting. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial functions. This is a hands on keyboard role related to financial modeling.

  • Fundraising and Investor Relations: Assist fundraising rounds, prepare investor reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with all financial reporting and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present to board in quarterly meetings. 

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and internal controls.

  • Operational Efficiency: Enhance financial and operational systems and processes to improve efficiency and provide critical financial and operational information.

  • Sales: P&L creation for sales process. Embedded within the full cycle sales process, working side by side to sell partners and close deals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA is highly preferred.

  • At least 10 years of finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a high-growth company or startup environment.

  • Startup experience required.

  • Strong track record in finance management, strategic planning, and business development.

  • Financial experience related to ecommerce business required. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Experienced in participating in financing rounds and investor relations.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and presentation skills.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic executive team.

  • Experience working in an FP&A role

Hours & Location
Our dynamic team of fewer than 25 professionals operates fully remotely across the US. Occasional travel for team offsites and customer meetings is required.
