Marketing Analyst

Scope of Position

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for researching and interpreting data related to security industry marketing trends, consumer behavior and related competitive intelligence. The role supports strategic marketing initiatives and lends to optimization of marketing efforts. Employing SEO strategies, serve as an expert data miner, coordinating and presenting relevant market data directed to support business decisions. The Marketing Analyst will use resourceful avenues to actively identify a variety of contracts, bids and RFP opportunities within the security industry and relevant markets.

Essential Job Duties

• Market Intelligence Collection: Gather, validate and analyze open-source intelligence data to create detailed and actionable reports. Use sourcing methods to gain insight and access to municipal, state and federal contracts, relevant bidding processes and RFP opportunities within the security industry and relevant markets.
• Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape in both current and prospective markets to identify key trends, opportunities and threats
• Trend Identification: Monitor and analyze industry trends to inform strategic planning processes and related service and operational development
• Market Opportunities: Use intelligence analysis to identify potential opportunities for growth and expansion within the security industry.
• Reporting and Analysis: Develop and deliver clear, concise and actionable intelligence reports to senior management and relevant stake holders

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
• Highly proficient with CRMs, including Salesforce or related platforms
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex information clearly and succinctly.

Highly Desired Technical and Professional Experience

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in the security industry
