KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Platform Development
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive ServiceNow platform strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Ensure platform scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness while optimizing performance.
2. Architecture Design
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, reliable ServiceNow solutions, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
- Develop architectural frameworks that support growth and operational efficiency.
3. Roadmap and Backlog Management
- Maintain and prioritize the ServiceNow demand backlog and platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and IT goals.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions.
4. Team Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to developers and architects.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow solutions into the broader infrastructure landscape.
- Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements for optimal delivery and performance.
6. Technical Oversight
- Provide ongoing technical oversight and guidance, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices for platform management.
- Perform technical reviews and ensure quality control on all platform developments.
7. Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external service providers and vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service levels align with contractual obligations and business needs.
8. Platform Licensing
- Manage the licensing of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance and optimization of usage across the organization.
9. Risk Management
- Assess and mitigate risks related to infrastructure, security vulnerabilities, data privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Implement robust security controls and protocols to protect the platform and ensure data integrity.
10. Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay current with platform releases, new functionalities, and emerging trends in ServiceNow and other relevant technologies.
- Incorporate advancements into the organization's ServiceNow strategy to drive continuous improvement.
11. Budget Management
- Develop and manage budgets related to ServiceNow platform support, projects, and ongoing operations.
- Optimize resource allocation and expenditures to maximize ROI while maintaining financial discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale ServiceNow platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow platform development, architecture design, and vendor management.
- Expertise in managing budgets, platform licensing, and risk management related to infrastructure and security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across business and technical teams.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework, ServiceNow best practices, and emerging technology trends.
