Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates plan of care with the health care team. Assumes leadership role for unit personnel to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments annual safety review CPR and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. Employees must successfully pass clinical math exam prior to orientation to unit. In addition to these major responsibilities the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.
This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- One to three (1-3) years of critical care experience
- Bachelors of Science RN (BSN)
- California Registered Nurse License (RG RN)
- Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
- Current AHA ACLS certification (CT ACLS)
- Current AHA PALS certification within 6 months of hire (CT PALS)
Preferred Requirements:
- One (1) year of experience as an acute care nurse
- CCRN

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Salary : $47 - $70
