Overview
The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and ongoing training sessions for ARS/Rescue Rooter. The position is responsible for all elements of maintaining and administering the LMS including registration processes, database management, installing updates, preparing system reports and providing end user support on technical aspects of the system. The position also designs, runs and delivers reports from the LMS to leadership as needed and serves as the LMS representative on projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Works with department staff to understand processes and derive needs via a needs-analysis process.
- Provides operational consulting to departments in the use of the LMS to support effective business processes.
- Prepares learning materials for instructor led trainings and onsite workshops
- Performs day-to-day functions within the LMS such as maintaining user database, assigning required learning modules, creating and uploading online modules, and maintaining system functions.
- Performs system testing for changes/updates to the LMS.
- Documents processes or contributes to user manuals.
- Provides end-user support on technical aspects of the LMS.
- Responsible for the day-to-day logistical requirements of the LMS and related policies, procedures and processes.
- Responsible for the auditing LMS usage, monitoring compliance, monitoring data integrity, editing data and records to ensure accuracy, and preparing and creating reports on a timely basis.
- Works closely with corporate personnel to evaluate business requirements related to the use and configuration of LMS applications.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one year experience using remote training tools such as Teams, WebEx, GoTo Meeting, Zoom and Adobe Connect.
- Knowledge of how eLearning solutions integrate with a LMS.
- Intermediate working knowledge of - Adobe Captivate (such as Articulate, Moodle, gomo) & NetDimensions (such as NetDimensions, HealthStream, PeopleFluent, Moodle, Cornerstone, Lessonly, Sumtotal, Canvas, Articulate Online, Adobe Captivate Prime, SilkRoad, Taleo, SkillSoft).
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on details.

- Able to analyze information and use deductive reasoning to create reports, check for errors and make appropriate corrections.
- Communication skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, strong written and oral communication skills.
