ARServices is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Department of Defense (DoD) Technical Project Manager to provide Project Management Office (PMO) Advisory & Assistance Services (AA&S). The PMO SME will provide high-level expert A&AS support to the government in support of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Nuclear Technologies Department efforts to develop state-of-the-art nuclear detection capabilities to enable U.S. and Allied conventional forces to survive, reconstitute, and conduct offensive and defensive military operations in a battlefield nuclear environment created by a limited nuclear exchange.
Our customer needs a dynamic candidate to collaborate with DoD, Interagency, and Allied partners to determine operational, functional, and technical requirements for integrating nuclear planning, training, operational, and assessment tools into Combatant Command and Service conventional capability portfolios. The candidate will develop, guide and monitor aspects of cost, schedule, administration and performance of a portfolio of projects. Researches new requirements, conducts market research, and translates technology areas and concepts to apply to the conventional-nuclear integration mission. Provides advice and facilitates government acquisition actions by writing statements of work, evaluating proposals, and monitoring contractor performance. Assists the government in aligning the portfolio for rapid transition of emerging tools and analytical capabilities to key end-users.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree plus 14 years of relevant experience, Masters plus 12 years of relevant or Doctorate plus 9 years of technical and/or operational experience that demonstrates the individual is a prominent and recognized authority in the subject matter field
- Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs; mastery of DoD policies, procedures and tools
- Ability to travel (10% to 25%)
- Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in nuclear engineering, physics or other core science or engineering discipline
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Level II or III Program Management Certification and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
