Tow Truck Operator

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge and superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment
- Perform basic automotive repair tasks, such as changing tires or jump-starting batteries
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety
- Maintain accurate records of all towed vehicles, including location and condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the tow truck
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Handle conflicts or difficult situations in a professional and calm manner

Experience:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely load, unload, and secure vehicles onto the wrecker or rollback
- Basic automotive repair skills and mechanical knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
