Physical Education + Health Teacher

ASA is a public charter school that is tuition free and serves students K-8. The main emphasis at ASA are students who have a particular interest in the arts and sciences. All students at ASA participate in art, music, and theater as part of our program.

Art and Science Academy is located in Isanti, Minnesota. Isanti is 45 minutes north of Minneapolis-St. Paul that offers a small town feel with nearby big city amenities. ASA opened its doors in 2014 with a single K-6 school that served 160 students, and now serves approximately 350 students in grades K-8 on two campuses (K-4 and 5-8). ASA is seeking a PE and Health teacher to begin August 2024. This is a 1.0 FTE position with benefits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Valid Minnesota Teaching License applicable to the assignment area and grade level.

Preferences:

• Teaching experience at the age level of the open position is preferred.
• Experience with Responsive Classroom and/or PBIS is preferred.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
