JOB DESCRIPTION

Art Gamblin Motors is looking for a skilled automotive used car recon technician to inspect, maintain and repair vehicles. You will be the one to ensure the vehicles are repaired and ready for sale. A great auto mechanic has good knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical operations. They are highly skilled in performing repairs and have excellent troubleshooting skills. The goal is to ensure that the vehicle functions properly , are safe and meet out high used car standards.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Inspects, analyzes, repairs vehicles
  • Conduct tests to discover vehicle functionality or mechanical condition
  • Fix issues within limits established by manufacturer or by OEM
  • Provide accurate reports on repairs (service notes)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as auto mechanic with great knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems – including engines, transmissions, etc.
  • Ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment to perform various repairs
  • Good communication skills
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • ASE certifications
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to get along and work well with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
