Humidor Assistant

Art of Glass is looking to add a highly motivated, goal-driven premium cigar connoisseur to our team!

Someone who has premium cigar-smoking experience!

We are looking for a full-time candidate with open availability(must have weekend availability)!

It is preferred for candidates to have their own reliable form of transportation.

It is also preferred that candidates have a basic knowledge of cigars and cigar accessories, but it is not necessary.

• 3497 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers to identify individual needs and provide excellent customer service
• Help customers by providing informatioin, answering questions, and obtaining merchandise requested by customers
• Demonstrate and explain merchandise
• Select and suggest options based on customers' wants and needs
• Ongoing training and knowledge of new store products
• Promote cigars and other smoking accessories, and create upsale opportunities
• Being attentive and recognizing when customers need service
• Use proper cash handling procedures when accepting cash, charging cards, or applying discounts
• Must keep the humidor in an orderly and clean fashion
• Restocking inventory as needed and identifying when products need to be ordered

Qualifications include:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Basic knowledge of cigars
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with existing clientele and bring in new customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math and pattern recognition skills
• Strong negotiation and people skills; a patient, kind attitude
• Professionalism; including respect for co-workers, management & clientele equally
• Time-management skills
• The desire and willingness to learn and grow with our company!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
