Technical
- Hands-on experience on SAS EBI suite
- Hands-on experience on working in Unix / Linux and Shell scripting.
- Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS Server usage.
- Good debugging skills to identify issues in Data and at Infrastructure level.
- Can describe existing technology infrastructure across all major functions / departments and has a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies :
- Has a competent understanding of safe and effective support practices.
Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications :
- Hands on experience in SAS BI on SAS 9.2, SAS 9.4 Grid platforms, including SAS Connect, SAS / Intranet Server, SAS OLAP Server, SAS Metadata Server, SAS Object Spawner
- Knowledge on tuning the SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server Platform to optimize the Server Performance
- Experience with databases like Oracle.
- Strong understanding of software languages, platforms, tools, ITIL framework and methodologies such as SDLC and agile
Desirable skills / Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in migrating SAS Enterprise Server to SAS Grid in Linux environment.
- Experience in Infrastructure analysis tools like Ganglia, App Dynamics
- Ability to schedule and Monitor Jobs via Tivoli Work Scheduler, LSF
Interpersonal Skills :
- Expert problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
- Understands how to communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully.
