Job Description:
Lead productivity projects yielding significant reductions in defects/costs and increased productivity
Achieving plant targets for SQDIC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost) for assigned production assets
Maintain engineering documents and participate in PHAs and execute on recommendations to eliminate process safety hazards
Work on projects that optimize energy consumption and could help in reducing expenses to operate in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Perform root cause analysis and implement process changes/control plans to drive continuous improvement
Utilize Six Sigma tools to drive process improvements
Execution of Improvement and Control steps in Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve & Control) process for existing plant operations.
Responsible for accurate production loss data entry into the Attainment system
Identify process KPIs and work independently or on a team to reduce process variability and waste through process unit operations optimization
Work closely with other operational engineers to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve OEE
Utilize MOC process to manage changes
Support operations in troubleshooting daily process issues as needed
Develop new SOPs or update existing ones as needed
YOU MUST HAVE :
Bachelor s Degree in Chemical Engineering
2 years of experience in manufacturing facility
