Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist
Feeney Brothers has an immediate need for an experienced Recruiter. The position will be located at our Springfield, MA office and will responsible for supporting our staffing functions, for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
This position will be required to perform the following functions:
- Lead and deliver a comprehensive approach to identify, attract and hire candidates
- Leverage subject matter expertise to execute strategies pursuant to hiring initiatives including sourcing, screening and interviewing applicants
- Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to accurately track candidate flow ensuring compliance with EEOC and OFCCP regulations
- Management of job postings in ATS as well as external job posting sites
- Participate in college career fairs and manage relationships with schools
- Help to identify, utilize and partner with other recruiting sources such as Trade Schools, Certificate Programs and Junior Colleges
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
Required
- 3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting or talent acquisition capacity
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize technology and social media for recruiting
- Prior hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Software
- Must possess excellent time management, interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Possess the ability to establish and maintain consultative relationships with division leaders and Sr. Management staff
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands on experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition
- Experience in Construction, Utilities, or Oil & Gas environments
- Prior Human Resources or recruiting experience
