How you'll make an impact

Primary Function : The Employee Benefits Account Associate is responsible for supporting the delivery of exceptional service to our Employee Benefits clients.

With direct supervision, this position supports specific client accounts and / or service teams with tactical administration of clients' Employee Benefits Programs.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for the completion of assigned daily tasks and projects related to the implementation, maintenance, service, and annual strategic plans of Employee Benefits clients.
  • Provides administrative support through completion of tasks related to service of employee benefits policies including, but not limited to, maintaining accurate and updated policy information in the agency management system and processing requested policy placement and service related transactions.
  • With direct supervision, handles recurring customer service tasks including, but not limited to, policy implementation and ongoing maintenance, claims support, basic enrollment functions, policy reviews, and other general administrative support as assigned.
  • Assists with insurance placement tasks and projects, including marketing of new and renewal accounts according to established policies and procedures as assigned.
  • Supports client enrollment processes, including completion of employee enrollment communications, enrollment meeting materials, and other related administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinate and schedule client meetings, prepare and distribute meeting agendas and materials, and follow up on action items.
  • Supports production, accounting, and compliance workflows through agency management system maintenance, including commissions verifications, compliance disclosures, and invoicing processes
  • Under direct supervision, supports senior service team members with resolving issues that require research and assists with the implementation of coverage and modifications to clients' coverages.
  • Verifies new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, coverages and other relevant information. Ensures that policies are delivered and / or mailed to the client in a timely manner
  • Handles specific customer service tasks, including but not limited to enrollment processing, employee-level questions, carrier, technology, and / or payroll implementations, billing and claims issues, and ad hoc requests related to ongoing policy maintenance as assigned.
  • Assists with the preparation and delivery of annual service plan deliverables including, but not limited to print and digital communications and benefits technology and enrollment fulfillment.
  • Researches, and may resolve, general customer service problems. Typically assigned to a client service team or specified accounts.
  • Follows established procedures and workflows related to document and client management, systems utilizations, as well as those for serving client needs.
  • Interacts with others effectively and professionally by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency.
  • Maintains open and clear communications with clients, producers and other internal partners
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes related to client care and support.
  • Provides administrative support on special projects, idea development, or new services as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance required.

About you

Required : Bachelor's degree; no experience required.

Preferred : Appropriate active Life & Health license; required within 6 months of hire
