The Position:

We’re looking for a full-time optometric technician. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Pretesting/ancillary testing of patients and data entry
  • Perform contact lens insertion and removal training
  • Prepare vision therapy activities
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies
  • Sanitize equipment and maintain cleanly working areas
  • Check patients in for appointments
  • Authorize and submit vision insurance claims
  • Clean office according to cleaning schedule
  • Must be able to work Saturdays (8:30am-1:15pm)

Hours:

  • Tuesday: 8:15am-5:15pm
  • Wednesday: 9:30am-6:15pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am-5:15pm
  • Friday: 7:30am-4:15pm
  • Saturday: 8:15am-1:15pm

Qualified Applicants:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and enjoy working directly with patients/coworkers
  • Are able to efficiently work with computers and tablets
  • Enjoy working with all ages
  • Value high-quality vision and eye health care
