Mason

Artistic Grounds is seeking an experienced Stone Mason to join our construction team. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with all facets of full stone, veneer stone installation, and all flatwork.  Chimney installation experience and pool coping experience are a plus.  Ultimately, you will be working on our uniquely designed stone projects with other professionals to deliver high-quality work based on the needs of our clients. Highly competitive hourly rate offered for experience.    

Requirements

• Have a full understanding of the proper equipment and stone-cutting tools used to perform the work safely.

• Be able to read and implement landscape plans and construction diagrams.

• Train apprentices as needed to grow our team and pass along the trade

• Proven work experience as a Mason or similar role

• Have experience working with other contractors and subs on a construction site

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (required) 

• DOT certificate - if operating trucks

• Lifting: Ability to frequently lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting to 80 lbs.

• Dexterity: Proficiency in using both hand and power tools, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks precisely.

• Mobility: Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods. Ability to navigate uneven terrains of residential properties.

• Stamina: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks under various weather conditions and maintain energy over long workdays.

• Vision: Good visual acuity to ensure precise measurements and installations.

• Coordination: Balance and bodily coordination are necessary for climbing ladders, working at heights, and navigating worksites safely.

• Endurance: Resilience to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and occasional precipitation.
