What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Caretaker or Caretaker Couple position at Artistree Hospitality?
Property Caretakers:
Artistree Hospitality Group: has an opening for a Property Caretaker or Caretaking Couple: (full-time, temporary position) for a Hot Springs property located within Sequoia National Forest. The dates for this opening are June 15 - October 31; depending on experience and the maintenance capabilities of the incumbent, the position may convert to a permanent position.
The ideal candidate(s) for this role have experience with general property maintenance and management, have the ability to make various minor repairs, enjoy living and working in a remote, natural location, and have clear and effective communication and hospitality skills. The Caretakers are responsible for managing daily operations of the Hot Springs facility, which currently has a large community geothermal pool, 2 hot soaking tubs, a small food and beverage operation, RV sites and retail sales. The Caretakers will also interface as needed with the Artistree Executive Team.
We are looking for a responsible couple with management experience who love nature and are capable of maintaining a continuing operation, interfacing with guests and locals, ensuring guest satisfaction, and are aligned with Artistree's core values (below).

Requirements:
- 2 years experience operating an inn, pool, or outdoor facility
- Familiarity and facility with regular maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning, and guest relations functions.
- Experience settling cash, credit, and financial batches
- Willing and able to be part of a small group of on-site pioneers that will lay the groundwork for a truly inspiring project, including Artistree’s project lead, a team of experienced designers, builders, and hospitality staff.
- Willing and able to live and work in a remote area, 45 min from Porterville, 1h 20m from Bakersfield, and 3hrs from Los Angeles.
- Housing is included with this position.
