Job Description

Position Title: Assembler

Reports to: Production Planner
Status: Hourly Position – Full Time

Work Days: Monday-to-Friday
Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Duties:

• Manually deflash production parts prior to sending to Quality Control
• Will request material to fulfill shop work orders
• Will perform inventory cycle counting and report accurate information as required
• Will work with other departments to ensure product is complete and prepared for Quality Department and Shipping
• Will ensure product traceability is maintained throughout the processing and storage cycles
• Will be asked to prepare shipment packages and receive incoming deliveries
• Maintains and organizes the finish/unfinished goods inventory areas

Working Conditions:

• Will be required to use ERP system to input data
• Will handle aluminum, cosmic, lytex and plastic parts; box cutters; packaging and deflashing supplies
• Will be standing, walking or bending
• constant use of hands and repetitive motion
• May be asked to use forklift or pallet jack

Other Requirements:

• Read and comprehend Job Traveler instructions
• May be required to train in molding Department
• Computer knowledge is a plus, not required; will work with company ERP system; training will be provided
• Required to report each day on time; excessive tardiness or absenteeism will NOT be tolerated
• Self-motivated; minimal supervision mindset; self-driven; mature individual; able to work with others; willing to be trained
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred- not required
• No excessive use of personal cellphone or socializing will be allowed
• Will practice housekeeping and assist in the cleaning of equipment and work areas
• May be asked to sweep and mop work areas or machines
• Will be required to wear company-provided PPE as required
• May be asked to work overtime and Saturdays as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.50 /hour
