What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Superintendent (Metro) position at Arvig?
Position summary
As a Field Superintendent you will plan, coordinate, and implement assigned construction projects in a safe, quality, timely, professional, and accurate manner and to provide daily director to Foreman, Leads, multiple crews and/or multiple projects.
Qualifications
You are required to have:
- 7 years progressive underground utility construction experience
- Demonstrated effective and professional leadership and training skills
- Demonstrated project planning and management skills
- In depth knowledge of all aspects and regulations of telecom construction
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrated skill with effectively managing multiple, concurrent projects with multiple crews in various stages of completion and communicating project progress to everyone involved
- Valid commercial driver's license; must meet a driver rating above "Unacceptable"
- Must pass Arvig Construction Operator Qualification for assigned equipment
We prefer you have:
- 2 years of experience with bidding commercial construction jobs
- Above average ability to plan and to anticipate roadblocks or other potential issues
- Optimism, Professionalism, high attention to detail, be self directed with a genuine concern for others

This position will be based out of New Hope, MN.
