What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outcomes Research Intern position at ASA Brand?
ASA is seeking a motivated college student(s) to participate in our paid summer internship program from June-September 2023. This intern will work within the Strategic Research and Data Analytics (Insights & Outcomes) group and support research efforts across our portfolio of teen voice projects in our teen advisory panel (Project Waypoint) and other quantitative and qualitative methodologies. This role will need to be filled by an individual who is looking to build their professional skills, experience with using market research to gain insights related to product development, experience measurement, attitude & usage exploration, etc. In addition to survey creation, distribution and analysis for youth-based research projects, the role will work closely with our research experts and senior staff in end-to-end project management from planning to delivery of strategic insights to the business.
This position is primarily based out of our Boston office (Downtown Crossing) with remote flexibility as needed.

Essential Functions:

- The ability to communicate effectively in print, web, audio, or visual formats.
- Engage with both student and professional audiences with confidence to ensure that the resources being provided meet their needs.
- Can learn new technology quickly.
- Ability to manage time and professional responsibilities
- The ability to work up to 25 hours per week for a period of 8-12 weeks with a possibility of part-time work when the school year starts.
- The ability to work on site with remote flexibility as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experiences:
- Experience with Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and interest in learning new technologies like survey creation/administration and basic data analysis crosstabulations (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, STAT-A)
- Strong sense of self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated passion for consumer insights and behaviors, marketing and digital analytics, etc.
- Willingness to attend additional training as necessary
