What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Desktop Technician - Tier 1 position at ASAP/NetSource?
Leading Association Solutions Provider for over 50 years, committed to helping over 1,600 associations in 80 industries achieve their goals with unmatched success & experience in the association marketplace is seeking a highly motivated, qualified & experienced Tier 1 Technician to join the team. This tech will report on-site to their Atlanta, GA location during normal business hours, one day per week with the possibility of supporting this location on an as needed basis during other days. Qualified candidates must have knowledge & experience supporting end user desktop level issues in the corporate environment and be able to support job description below. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual that has a good possibility of turning into something more.
Work with end users, on-site and remotely, to identify and resolve technical issues and escalate accordingly or as needed.
Document detailed work logs and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application, operating system, and network problems on user devices.
Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.
Install and maintain workstations, cabling, peripherals and other network hardware.
Repair or replace defective or inadequate hardware and software.
Create and delete user accounts and assign permissions, groups and roles as needed.
Updates documentation to record new equipment deployments and changes to computer configurations.
