POSITION OVERVIEW As a key member of the Business and Site Leadership Teams, the Reliability & Maintenance Leader will have leadership accountability for all reliability and maintenance functions at the Pensacola Florida facility. This role will focus on the development of a comprehensive evergreen multi-year approach to optimizing predictive reliability, maintenance and productivity. The ideal candidate will have experience leading maintenance, reliability teams or operations in the chemicals or petro-chemicals industry. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have led a large, complex site through a successful maintenance and reliability transformation. TARGETED OUTCOMES Support and Sustain a multi-year strategic plan that includes identification and delivery of opportunities to improve maintenance productivity, turnarounds and reliability that will result in a significant improvement in business profitability. Grow and develop capable teams and leaders who are able to drive execution of plans and deliver targeted results. Encourage and promote a culture that is proactive and personifies innovative ways of solving problems driven by business profitability and bottom line results. Discipline in MWP execution agility field and customer driven KEY RESPONSIBILITIES People Foster a cohesive organization through regular engagement, availability to the team and accountability for all members of the team. Establish and communicate clear and consistent expectations (job performance, professionalism, work ethic, attendance, interpersonal relationships, etc.) for all MRE Team members. Coach/mentor Team members in their development relative to their ability to execute expectations. Initiate progressive corrective action as warranted. Ensure adequate and effective skills of and training for all Team members. Coordinate the selection process for any new Team members. Leadership Lead the site reliability and maintenance teams and continuously develop their skills and experiences along with the systems and processes to drive efficiency and improved performance. As a member of the Site Leadership team, partner with the Site Director and leadership team to identify and resolve key issues and constraints facing the facility as well as identify new opportunities. Establish clear objectives for each position, communicate them to the leaders/employees and provide opportunities for continuous dialogue and feedback on performance and development. Encourage team work to drive department performance and maintain a respective work place Deliver AOP commitments and coordinate AOP changes, impact and mitigating solutions to site leadership. Maintenance Implement long-term strategies to ensure efficient and cost effective execution of maintenance activities, maintenance standards, reliability, equipment integrity, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and SAP management. Implement site processes that ensure that maintenance and project execution across the site are conducted in a safe, responsible and environmentally sound manner in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain process for facility wide continuous improvement and cost improvement. Oversee an integrated multi-year Maintenance and Reliability execution strategy for the facility. Serve as a communication channel to share the best practices with other APM sites that will enable growth. Reliability Develop and implement a multi-year reliability strategy that focuses on predictive and preventive maintenance technologies to include mechanical and instrumentation systems. Drive the development of a proactive data focused reliability culture in partnership with operations leaders. Provide leadership on prioritizing maintenance spend and capital expenditures that will have the greatest impact on Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Lead the prioritization and execution of reliability, process safety, and work process optimization. REPORTS TO Sr. Site Director - PNS TEAM Direct reports include: Operations Maintenance, Reliability and Small Capital Projects teams. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 15 years, includes experience in leading operations, reliability, maintenance, and/or engineering organizations. 10 years in Chemical or Petrochemical Industry Experience transforming Maintenance and Reliability organizations.
