We are looking for a capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective renters. The goal is to scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. We need proactive people-persons who are well-versed and visible in the local community. The right candidate should be prepared to conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities. Compensation:
$50,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:-
Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure closing of the deal
- Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of customers in order to match those needs to a property
- Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standards
- Validate all personal references and rental application information
Qualifications:-
Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
- A proven record of sales experience and success
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
- Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new programs and systems
