About the Role:

Job Title: Data Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong technical leadership and mentor skills.
• Expected to drive critical delivery initiatives while also skilling up their teammates in the process.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders and members of Product engineering teams and translate business needs into technical capabilities.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the leadership in deriving data roadmaps and alignment of solutions into strategic data initiatives
• Establish best practices and constant oversight for improving the architecture to meet the changing requirements.

Minimum Qualification:

• Deep experience building data pipelines leveraging Spark (Azure Databricks or Apache Spark), Airflow.
• Deep understanding of Big Data Platform
• Strong experience with Snowflake including snowsql, snow pipes, user authentication & Authorizations, Warehouse management, Storage integration etc.
• Experience with data modeling and data formats including Avro, Parquet, ORC, JSON
• Experience Using airflow at scale, with integration to meta-data and lineage systems of record.
• Experience with Azure Data services (ADLS, ADF, Event Hub, Azure functions)
• Experience working with Python for Spark (Pyspark)
• Strong experience of event streaming platforms like Kafka, Kafka Connect, ksql.
• Strong working experience with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle preferred. Any other database with strong exposure to Ansi-SQL or T-SQL is fine too.)
• Operational experience troubleshooting and monitoring airflow environments and associated task execution.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $160000 - $200000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
