Join a leading provider of freight and logistics services in the search for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations at their New York office. This role will play a crucial part in overseeing accounting matters for their corporate and operations teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with Accounting Managers of Asia operations for monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements.
- Coordinate financial budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Oversee year-end audits and tax filings, preparing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Research and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Supervise payroll and HR-related tasks.
- Recruit, train, and mentor accounting staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in payroll and HR is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
