Accounts Payable Specialist

Ascendo Resources is looking to hire an AP Specialist in the Palm Beach Gardens area. Job will be Monday -Friday standard business hours. NOT REMOTE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily accounts payable activities including processing invoices and statement reconciliations;
• Verify that all vendor invoices are approved and properly coded;
• Oversee all vendor correspondence via email or phone, evaluating and reconciling all vendor statements;
• Monitor accounts payable email box and ensure timely responses to all inquiries;
• Ensure all vendor relationships continuously remain in good standing;
• Assist with set up of new vendors; obtain W9 forms and banking information from all new vendors;
• Collaborate with the Integrations Team to ensure timely and complete transition of vendor accounts of acquired hospitals.
• Assist with off-cycle AP/check requests and maintain appropriate internal controls over this process;
• Demonstrate “Service Excellence” in all interactions with internal and external customers;
• Perform other job responsibilities and assist with other projects as assigned; and
• Demonstrate flexibility while operating in a highly professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant accounts payable experience;
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel;
• Knowledge of accrual-based accounting and U.S. generally accepted accounting principles;
• Proficient in data entry;
• Very strong communication and time management skills required;
• Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
• Detailed oriented and well organized;
• Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile;
• Takes initiative and approaches issues with an analytical mindset; and
• Works well under pressure and is accustomed to strict deadline deliverables

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
