Our client, an energetic and rapidly expanding wealth management firm situated in the bustling heart of Miami's financial district, is actively searching for a dynamic Contracts Manager to join its team. In this pivotal role, the Contracts Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring strict adherence to both legal standards and business requirements. The ideal candidate should bring forth a robust background in contract management, showcase exceptional negotiation skills, and demonstrate a keen ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Contract Lifecycle Management:

   - Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents.

   - Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, renewal, and closeout.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

   - Identify potential contractual risks and propose strategies for risk mitigation.

   - Work closely with legal and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Negotiation and Communication:

   - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions that align with business objectives.

   - Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved in the contracting process.

Contract Administration:

   - Ensure accurate and timely contract documentation and maintain a centralized repository for contracts.

   - Monitor contract performance, compliance, and milestones to safeguard the company’s interests.

Vendor Management:

   - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring that contractual obligations are met.

   - Collaborate with procurement and other departments to optimize vendor relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor or Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in Contract Management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role, preferably in finance.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
