Job Posting for Private Equity & M&A Attorney at Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search
Ascension Global Staffing and Executive Search is seeking a mid-senior Associate (Class Years 2018 – 2020) with M&A and specifically Private Equity M&A experience to join our Am Law 100 client Firm’s US Private Equity practice group in the Washington, DC. The US Private Equity practice focuses on private equity transactions and funding arrangements, strategic M&A, acquisitions and divestitures of assets and companies, and joint ventures.
The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of M&A experience and strong academic credentials. Experience with private equity-backed companies is strongly preferred. Additionally, strong writing, communications and interpersonal skills are required. Please provide a cover letter indicating your office of interest with your submission. The candidate will have an almost immediate opportunity to take on a significant role in transactions. A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
Our client's compensation is aligned with the standard market-rate salary scale. The good faith, annualized salary range for this position is $215,000 to $415,000 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law such as, education, training, other responsibilities. The annual salary range listed is just one component of our client’s total compensation and benefits package which includes a discretionary bonus, paid leave, life, health, accident and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
