Responsibilities

Ascension Illinois is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Midwive for our busy practice in Kankakee, Illinois.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Illinois to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide comprehensive women&rsquos health services to include prenatal care, intrapartum management, deliveries, postpartum care, well-women visits and gynecological care.
• Experience is preferred but we will consider new graduates.
• Only one clinic location and one hospital for this unique position

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
&bull BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
&bull Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
Preferred Credential(s):
&bull Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Education:
&bull Master's degree of Nursing required.
