What You Will Do
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities related to clinical areas for an assigned service line or population.
- Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilize methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.
- Participate in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Lab Scientist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Tech credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Paramedic credentialed from the Oklahoma EMS Personnel Licensure obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
