Ascension Seton Elgin Health Center is looking to hire a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our team!
Location: 200 Roy Rivers Rd
Elgin, TX 78621
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours Weekly- Monday-Friday ( 8AM-5PM) ** No Weekends or Holidays** Must be flexibile to go to Bastrop or Smithville Clinics if needed.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
- Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
- Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
- Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
&bull BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted..
&bull Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
&bull Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
&bull Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education:
&bull Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
&bull Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
&bull 1 year of experience preferred.
