Responsibilities

Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration. 

  • Greet patients and visitors, respond to questions/concerns and direct them to appropriate location.
  • Provide on-going communication with clinical staff regarding patient status.
  • Collect and enter all necessary demographic, clinical, billing and insurance information from patients or responsible parties.
  • Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures and ensure that all documents are properly signed and witnessed as required.
  • Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience:

  • Prior experience in a hospital environment or insurance company preferred.
