Are you an RN looking to pick up extra shifts? Ascension Connect is seeking a Nurse to work PRN in our Admissions and Transfers Department for St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
If you have 5 years as an RN with a critical care bedside background, looking to pick up extra shifts, this PRN position is your answer!
Must be local to Indianpolis area
What You Will Do
Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio calls for medical assistance.
- Respond to calls in a time-sensitive manner.
- Ensure appropriate and accurate routing of calls.
- Dispatch emergency units and coordinate air medical flights as appropriate and per established algorithms.
- Maintain documentation of calls and physician/service referrals for legal, medical and statistical purposes.
- Follow up with referring entities for ease of access, marketing, evaluation, and quality improvement.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
