Commercial Representative

Ascent Resources is seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst. This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK.

This role is responsible for supporting Midstream and Marketing department’s daily operations by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party Midstream providers and NGL and condensate buyers.

There is no direct managerial role, but the candidate will be responsible for working closely with more senior members of the organization and collaborating with the several different departments requiring the ability to effectively communicate the key elements of Midstream and Marketing as well as the ability to understand its impact on other disciplines within the organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and/or maintain models used in the support of ongoing Midstream and Marketing department needs by incorporating advanced analytical methods and modeling techniques into output deliverables
• Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate midstream capacity, well connect schedules, and other key commercial data
• Interact regularly with Midstream providers to ensure timely TILs and 100% flow assurance
• Nominate and schedule NGL & Condensate production
• Support negotiation of new agreements or renegotiation of existing agreements
• Become an expert on existing agreements and initiate any required notices, information sharing, etc.
• Work with Land team and Midstream providers to enable acreage trades
• Work with GIS team to create bespoke maps for contract exhibits, meetings, M&A, etc.

• Able to prioritize and schedule tasks, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate good organizational skills
• Able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience in Cobblestone and DocuSign a plus

Education & Work Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or energy management preferred or minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Midstream and Marketing or related experience in oil and gas industry
• Ability to travel
• Valid state Driver’s License
