Summary:
Ready To Go, a program operated by Good News Garage, provides rides to individuals and families who lack reliable transportation. Ready To Go drivers transport clients safely, courteously and efficiently. Our Drivers make a difference in their local communities!

Essential Responsibilities:
- Transport Ready To Go clients in a safe, courteous, and timely manner according to schedule
- Assist child and adult riders entering/exiting the vehicle and escort from vehicle to destination, as needed
- Understand and use child safety seats appropriately
- Use smart phone to navigate, record accurate ride data, communicate with dispatch, etc.
Qualifications required:
- Excellent driver with good vision, a clean driving record and valid driver’s license (no CDL required)
- Personable, patient, and friendly demeanor, putting riders and parents at ease
- Clear communicator with independent decision-making abilities; a readiness willing to work closely with general public, and staff as a courteous Ascentria Care Alliance representative
- Must be able to effectively use smartphones and GPS app to locate clients and destinations
- Must be available 6:00 am to 6:00 pm., on average, but not driving more than 8 hours during that time period.

Ready To Go Drivers enable our clients to access essential life activities, including work, job training and childcare. Drivers provide barriers presented by a lack of reliable transportation.
