Healthstore improves outcomes for Chronic Care patients who are dependent on multiple daily medications. Our proprietary and vertically integrated technology solutions enable providers to enhance medication adherence through improved access (virtual care and MTM), owned physician network, information sharing, data analytics, and customizable insights.
This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset looking to make an impact and drive all aspects of financial performance. You will define, lead, and implement a strategy for the company’s overall financial activities, assessing the financial performance of the organization in relation to the overall vision, mission and goals. You will be the trusted partner of the CFO, to define strategy, then drive efficient, repeatable, and scalable execution. You’ll have an opportunity to showcase a breadth of strengths: strategy, analysis, financial modeling, Banking relationship management, problem-solving, performance management, impact investment, long term exit strategist and more.
You will be responsible for leading the analysis and evaluation of new projects, lending options, business ideas, modeling and for working with the executive team to drive the organizations financial business plan and near, medium, and long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assess strategic growth opportunities in collaboration with the executive team.
- Take ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully managing customer based, scope, dependencies, and milestones.
- Drive sourcing, analysis and evaluation of opportunities and new products, ideas, and concepts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, dynamics, emerging technologies, and disruptions.
- Drive the strategic evaluation of the organization’s value proposition and assist in the evaluation and execution of the business plan and strategy.
- Manage multiple projects at any given time across a variety of product groups and industry segments.
- Develop and provide quarterly reporting to the Executive Team.
- Take decisive action to ensure sustainable growth.
- Continually evaluate the competitive landscape and undertake regular analysis of threats, opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses of the business.
- Lead the development and articulation of the organization’s values and principles of asset management.
Experience
- A CPA in the US; or equivalent qualification, plus an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline
- 5-8 years’ experience in a senior role with relevant experience
- Previous experience working with e-commerce (pharmaceutical industry is a plus)
- Finance experience working with US markets, preferably in the start-up environment
- Advance level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PowerPivot & PowerQuery and Quickbooks.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in a high growth healthcare organization. Startup experience is a strong plus but not required.
- A post-secondary degree in business or economics is a plus.
- Experience with a private equity and/or financial services background would be an asset.
