What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Ashby Ponds?
We are hiring a Painter for our award-winning retirement community. The painter is responsible for performing responsive, accurate, and efficient work within our resident’s apartments and the common areas. Duties include (but are not limited to) the interior and exterior maintenance of painted areas of the Community campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform residential painting/wallcovering as scheduled.
- Maintain the esthetics of high traffic common areas. (Painting and wallcovering).
- Restore painted areas in vacated apartments to new-like conditions.
- Perform custom painting/wallcovering services as contracted by residents.
- Perform drywall repairs as needed.
- Prepare written communications as required to request painting/wallcovering materials and supplies and to report on the completion of each work order.
QUALIFICATIONS:

A good working knowledge of commercial and residential painting/wallcovering. Ability to use power tools and painting equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED. Three to five years of painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting.
