What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Attorney position at Ashco, Inc.?
A boutique Real Estate firm is seeking an * Experienced Attorney *with experience in the real estate industry or similar field dealing with business transactions and contract law. Experience in civil litigation is a plus, as some tenant/landlord transactions may need to go to litigation.
Full or part time hours, depending on preference.
Requirements:
- * Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and a good standing member of the Florida Bar. 5 years experience in contract law and/or civil litigation to represent the company in matters of Landlord/Tenant and Creditor's Rights.
- Some related work in the commercial real estate field with an understanding of real estate dealings, particularly in market lending documentation and practices for investment, acquisition finance, and leveraged finance.
Skills and Abilities:
- Negotiate settlements in legal disputes with clients/tenants
- Ability to manage a demanding case load in all aspects with excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritize work and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Proven ability to independently format legal documents, such as contracts, affidavits, addendums, etc. based on the company's needs. Also a working knowledge of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and
other related matters.
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients and advise clients on pending cases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong and persuasive advocacy, with an eye toward pragmatic, beneficial outcomes that best represent the company values.
- High emotional Intelligence, excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with colleagues AND tenants at all levels, by virtue of professional competence and personal integrity.
- Proven ability to handle stressful situations, a diverse and high-volume workload, and provide legal advice in a calm and professional manner.
- Flexibility and strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment. Understanding of general business and transactional operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Pay: $85,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
