Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Ashland LLC. business at our Dublin, OH This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Controller function. This position will report to the Manager of External Financial Reporting.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in Preparing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Responsible for critical accounting processes
- Conduct technical analysis and draft summary memorandum
- Collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to solve complex issues
- Assist cross functional teams in delivering accurate data to management
- Keep up with accounting legislation and assist team members in the implementation project.
- Travel 0-5%
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years in SEC reporting, Consolidation or Auditing public companies
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
- Master's degree or above
- Six Sigma certification
- Five years of SEC experience
- CPA License
